About this release
Son Of My Father is the sole studio album by English pop group, Chicory Tip.
The album is best known for it’s title track which was No. 1 on the UK Singles Charts for three weeks in 1972, selling over a million copies. It was also notable for being the first the UK No. 1 to prominently feature a Moog synthesizer.
The album features two tracks (‘Son Of My Father and ‘What’s Your Name’) co-written by legendary Italian producer, Giorgio Moroder, which became his first international hits.
Demon Records presents the album reissued on 180g heavyweight brown coloured vinyl, housed in a printed inner sleeve.
