About this release
This 2CD set celebrates their 1983 Top 10 album “Standing In The Light”, produced by Earth, Wind & Fire’s Larry Dunn and Verdine White.
“Standing In The Light” features the singles ‘Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind’, the band’s first Top 10 hit ‘The Sun Goes Down (Living it Up)’ and ‘Micro Kid’, co-written with GRAMMY Award winning songwriter/producer Allee Willis.
CD1 contains the original album, while CD2 features a selection of 7” edits, 12” extended versions, remixes and B-sides.
A Foreword has been written by Simon Carson and Paul Waller, with the latter being the author of the book “LEVEL 42: a Worldwide Visual Discography”.
The booklet contains album lyrics and photos of the singles released from the album.
