About this release

There are some bands that the UK takes to its heart, and one of those is Odyssey. Whilst their debut single ‘Native New Yorker’ was one of the defining hits of the Studio 54 era, they never made great inroads in the US pop charts, but on the other side of the Atlantic they hit the top ten 5 times with some of the finest pop soul records of the era. This compilation gathers together the very best of the music that appeared on their five RCA albums, delivering up the versions that would (and continue to) blast out of radios around the world, whilst disc two collects up the extended versions that have become club classics.

Contains all the hit singles, remixes and disco versions.
