Vaughan Mason & Crew are an American funk and postare an American funk and post–disco group, best known for their single “Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll”, which reached #5 on the US Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart in 1980.

In 1979 legendary producer Vaughan Mason had an idea to write, produce and engineer a song about roller skating, a craze which was sweeping the nation at the time. The resulting track, a note to Chic’s Good Times was released  on the Brunswick label in 1980.

The uniqueness of this record has seen it go on to appear countless times in tracks by artists such as Daft Punk, De La Soul, Digital Underground, A Tribe Called Quest, LL Cool J, Lil Kim and The The Game to to name a few.

Remastered and now on 140g eco-mix vinyl housed in a beautiful printed inner sleeve. Eco-Mix vinyl production uses leftover wax that’s already in the factory, meaning each record is different and the colour is completely random. It’s more environmentally friendly as it’s using up material that would have otherwise been thrown away.
