recording artist since 1968, Miller made eight albums for Capitol, culminating
with “The Joker”, before releasing the multi-million selling “Fly Like
An Eagle”, “Book Of Dreams”, “Circle Of Love” and “Abracadabra”
albums in the late 70s and early 80s.
“Abracadabra”, Steve Miller went out on tour throughout 1982 and 1983
with the full six-piece band that had recorded “Abracadabra”, playing the
biggest hits from those albums, along with older classics like
“Livin’ In The USA” and the all-time favourite “The Joker”. This
live album was recorded on the tour in
booklet of this Special Digipak Edition contains a brand new note
by San Francisco journalist Joel Selvin, based on a recent
interview with Steve Miller himself.
