Climie Fisher were formed in 1987 by vocalist Simon Climie and former Naked Eye keyboard player Rob Fisher.
Climie was already known as the composer of the Aretha Franklin & George Michael worldwide hit I Knew You Were Waiting For Me, which topped both the UK and USA charts in February 1987.
The duo’s first single Love Changes Everything was a big international hit that same year and in 1988, Rise To The Occasion also did very well.
The album Everything was issued that year too, reaching No 14 on the UK charts, and this annotated CD release includes seven bonus tracks.
Climie Fisher’s less successful follow-up album, Coming In For The Kill, was issued in 1989 and includes the singles Facts Of Love, Fire On The Ocean and It’s Not Supposed To Be That Way.
