MFSB (Mother, Father, Sister, Brother) were essentially Philadelphia International’s studio band. Based in the Sigma Sound Studios, these musicians played on virtually every record released on the Philadelphia label.
They also found time to make their own albums for the label. These two date from 1978 and 1980, and feature contributions from Gamble and Huff themselves, as well as Dexter Wansel and Cynthia Biggs, and Jack Faith.
Featured tracks are a reworkings of Rose Royce’s "Wishing On A Star" and The O’Jays’ hit "Use Ta Be My Girl" and the UK hit "Mysteries Of The World".
