The Stranglers were one of the most widely respected bands of the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. They were an aggressive rock band with a Doorsinfluenced keyboard sound, which got caught up in the ‘new’ music that was Punk and New Wave.
"Live ‘N’ Sleazy" is a 31-track, 2CD collection. CD1 contains live performances recorded in 1997 at The Royal Albert Hall and includes ‘5 Minutes’, ‘Skin Deep’, ‘Golden Brown’ and the anthemic ‘No More Heroes’.
CD2 features key album tracks recorded from the mid-1990s and includes ‘Face’, which features Nigel Kennedy.
The Stranglers are still one of the best live performing bands, constantly playing to sell-out crowds.
